Based in California, Texas, or the greater Boston area. This is a U.S.-based position. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to work on-site in the U.S. on a long-term basis.
▪ Technical Support & Product Presentation: Support sales/account managers in delivering technical presentations and demonstrations of NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) systems. Clearly communicate product capabilities, technical advantages, and application scenarios across chemistry, materials science, and biomedical fields. Develop tailored NMR solutions based on customer needs, ensuring technical accuracy and feasibility.
▪ Training & Evaluation: Provide hands-on training on NMR operation and application techniques for end users, including researchers and lab technicians. Ensure users can independently operate the system, process data, and perform routine analysis, with appropriate assessment and follow-up.
▪ Market Intelligence & Insights: Continuously update technical materials and application cases for NMR products. Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging applications in NMR, and provide actionable insights to support sales strategy and market positioning.
▪ Marketing & Promotion: Participate in the planning and execution of academic conferences, exhibitions, and technical workshops. Highlight key features and application value of NMR products. Support the development of marketing initiatives to enhance brand awareness in the NMR field.
▪ Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain technical and sales-support materials, including white papers, application notes, and competitive analysis reports. Support proposal development and technical presentations. Contribute to documentation across the project lifecycle, including experimental plans, validation reports, and delivery documentation.
▪ Other Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
▪ Education & Background: Master’s degree or above in Chemistry, Materials Science, Environmental Science, Biomedical Science, Physics, or a related field. Overseas education or work experience is a plus. Hands-on experience with NMR instrumentation is strongly preferred.
▪ Communication Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly explain NMR principles, data interpretation, and application cases using tools such as PowerPoint.
▪ Research & English Proficiency: Strong research and analytical skills. Proficient in reading and writing English, with the ability to independently review and understand technical literature and market reports related to NMR.
▪ Learning & Hands-on Ability: Quick learner with the ability to independently perform NMR experiments, including sample preparation, parameter setup, spectral acquisition, and data analysis (e.g., chemical shifts, coupling constants, relaxation times).
▪ Adaptability & Travel: bility to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel frequently to support on-site demonstrations, technical discussions, and customer training.
